Metro FAQ

Is there real-time metro arrival info?

No. Metrorex does not publish an official real-time arrivals feed, so we only show the schedule. Any “real-time” in other apps is estimated from the timetable, not measured.

How much is a metro trip?

5 lei per trip (2026). Passes exist too: 10 trips, 24h, 72h, weekly, monthly. Buy the card from the machines in stations.

What are the metro lines?

M1 (yellow, loop), M2 (blue, north–south), M3 (red, east–west), M4 (green) and M5 (Drumul Taberei). The lines cover most tourist and business areas.
